Event gathers senior leaders to explore AI, leadership and human connection for lasting transformation

B°®¶ą´«Ă˝ announces that Marc Booker, Ph.D., vice provost for strategy, will lead a session at the . The invitation-only event takes place November 5–7, 2025, at the Scottsdale Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is designed for senior customer experience leaders to benchmark, connect and identify solutions to critical business challenges in the most effective way possible.

Booker will present “” on Wednesday, November 5, at 11:00 a.m. The session will offer actionable strategies for purpose-driven leadership, fostering trust, and navigating complex organizational dynamics. Attendees will also gain insights into aligning cross-functional teams to drive enterprise-wide outcomes.

“Leadership is about more than managing functional goals. It’s about creating alignment, building trust and guiding teams through complexity and change,” said Booker. “At °®¶ą´«Ă˝, we’ve learned that influence grows when leaders communicate with clarity, connect across functions and stay grounded in their mission and purpose. I look forward to sharing how leaders can elevate their voice to drive meaningful outcomes across their organizations.”

Booker’s session complements the event’s broader focus on leadership, momentum and human connection in the age of AI. He joins a lineup of speakers exploring organizational readiness, empathetic innovation and data-informed strategies to improve customer experiences across industries.

As vice provost for strategy at °®¶ą´«Ă˝, Booker oversees critical path academic initiatives to improve the student experience, such as learning platform implementations, curricular enhancements and developing empathetic solutions to drive improved student outcomes through data. He is the recipient of the 2024 UPCEA Operational Excellence Award, the 2024 AACRAO Thomas A. Bilger Award, and in 2023 was part of a leadership team named winners of the Catalyst Award for Teaching & Learning. In 2020, Booker received a Hall of Fame recognition from Blackboard.

Widely recognized as an expert in transfer credit and Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), Booker previously served as vice president of Admissions and Evaluation at °®¶ą´«Ă˝; during his tenure, his office received three Showcase in Excellence Awards from the Southwest Alliance for Excellence for processes related to admissions application, transcript and prior learning assessment processes.

Booker has been an employee of University of Phoenix since 2001.
